Has anyone got this DVD?

http://www.metalshapingzone.com/shop/page/1?sessid=N7yQn1agPer0EgJVtsr0QYZZmRkLOXWklESA6d9EAUThlpSW1HcV31b2kSftTAe6&shop_param=

Is it any good? Or does anyone have a copy they want to sell?

If by any chance anyone has 2 copies by mistake, and they want to sell both of them, could I have the second one?

Thanks!

Chris

IMHO, the thing you need the most when metal shaping is the ability to calmly put the bit of metal in the scrap bin, and start again.

Don't ask how I know.

The bit about metal shaping that really scares me is the initial bit - where the bloke pounds the sheet with a round-faced hammer until it's a mangled approximation of the final shape - then he uses all his tools and skills to make the mangled shape into a beautiful flowing form.

Talent like that makes me sick with envy...

It's the one bit of making my car that I really didn't enjoy, and I always wish that I could have done better. Some people dread the electrics - that didn't bother me at all, but I didn't relate to the metal shaping one tiny bit.

Funny how it goes...

i'm the same, as its mainly an ally bodied car its got to be properly though

Mangled approximation of the final shape?

Paul, you dont get to make comments like that.... those of us who have seen your work are all jealous of your skills.... leave the self deprecation to those of us that can't match your standards

Hi Dave,

I was once given a piece of advice by the wonderful, super-human, hugely talented, and all round hero, Trev D.

"It's only a bit of metal. Don't be afraid of it."

Geoff (the burger) from Cambridge had a go on my e wheel and in 20 mins had the beginnings of a perfectly respectable bonnet bulge.
"Wow, that was painless" he said.
I replied, "that's because you didn't trap your thumbs between the wheels."

Cheers
Paul G
