I think it's an awesome paint scheme on 7's and similar cars. If it was done in some horrible flip candy paint then I could certainly compare it to fitting huge spoilers, but the proper colours look great.

To answer the question. Lots of different colour combinations come under the umbrella of "gulf livery".
The recent Aston Martin variant is very different (for example).
