spent all of today sawing, grinding, welding, hammering, pushing and pulling to bend steel and filing so the driver's side mount is made.
tommorrorow will trial fit the carbs and exhaust and then bonnet to see how it fits ... or not.
Deliberately made engine mounts a couple of mm too short so that can shim up the engine if too low, well that was the theory .... not sure how accurate was my bending of 3 mm steel ......
