Thanks for sharing this - one thing for sure you won't be short of traction. The weight penalty isn't as high as I thought it would be. Looking forward to hearing how it handles and goes on the track and if it is competitive with a BEC.

Coolest thing ive seen in a while!

fregis - 6/11/16 at 10:02 AM

Cant compare to BEC, in my country only 2 i know .... and they not track driving....
How handle hard to say, you can put in corner pedal to metal and it oversteer, but still accelerate and you will not spin out. Yes still oversteer... sometimes in fast corners very easy lose end also easy spin tyres on start - but problem maybe old tyres and rear suspension setup.
power 30% to front 70% to rear

We also have in garege rwd locost 4.2l from audi S6. What thing hard to control

how handling?
in high speed very stable, if you loose back push gas and car straingh out (hard to spin out)

but in low speed, notice handling problem -under 60 kmh want understeer. have idea how remove it?

Suspension setup:
Front
TOE -0.2
Camber 1.5 degree
Caster 3 degree

Rear
Toe 0.04
Camber 1.5 degree ( with driver and passenger)

mass distribution 50/50 at full load

spring rates now checking, looking rear too soft

ackerman ok

Season over

Did some suspension adjustents (most increase caster), now car fast.... to fast for me

Drive awd is fun, if you want go fast in corner you need push gas to the floor, if go in corner without gas rear go sliping - push gas and straight out,

Winter jobs:
Do paint job (also choose color)
Repair gearbox (broken in last)
Upagrade engine - lighter fly wheel, tobular exhaust, con rod bolts
Remap ecu
Brakes - master cyliner bigger, brake calibers,
Roll cage
