Forrestburn J15
1.7vvt Sigma tuned by Sitech Racing to 155bhp, competed at my local track Forrestburn recently.
Mine as it stands... sadly after a year since this was taken very little has moved on.
How it WILL look eventually
In a similar vein,
It'll be a Phoenix one day, honest!
about 8 weeks behind but 14 days and MOT
Hmmmm the current fleet of mine and Alfablack
2014 Fury Spyder - Currently For Sale
The others in the barn
The CRAP Fury a Stylus Classic and a Stylus RT - The Classic chassis is the one hanging in the top right and the RT Chassis is buried below it.
To prove the RT chassis exists here it is before burial - LOL
And before the hoarding got a little out of hand.

Here's my Phoenix. Hopefully I'll get to use it before summer runs out!
Maybe Blyton on the 18th Sept.

My first Striker which I ended up owning for 18 years 5 months and 30 days.....
BH
Its now moved on and I am building a new one with a 2lt Duratec, BGH gearbox, quaif diff, Wilwood brakes, Dash2 Pro....and more stuff that has cost a
fortune so I should probably not think about it to much and enjoy the build
Current progress, front end complete (until I noticed the wing stays are pissed and need cutting off and re-welding )
front end
PS the Fury in the background is my business partners and its sat in that position since 1998....every year he says he will get it going again but
thats another story
Here's my old Fisher Fury, now sold on to Mazie on here. Been through a couple of iterations -
Start off as Blue Gel Coat with doors, full screen, fully trimmed interior. This is an original IRS version with the single lower wishbone set up.
It then went back to Mark Fisher to have the doors bonded in and the colour chaned to sparayed silver
2.0l Zetec Engine went through four iterations -
Ginetta style Inlet Plenum + std ecu (bent fitting so leaked)
Yorkshire Kit Cars / Griffin Intlet Plenum + std ecu (OK)
ITBs + Emerald K3 (could not get it to run right, probably issues with me rather then the kit)
Bike Carbs + Mega Jolt Jnr (Chester SC) (just bolt on and go, most successful)
Mazie now has it so I will let him post what it looks like now (he has definitely improved it !), there are some pictures in his album I think.

The pictures to your article don't seem to match up to the text alongside. Also I think the colour scheme was for the Mazda Xedos 6, the Mazda 6 came much later than when you did your colour change. Nice article though.
My Mojo:
Hi Jeff
I can imagine that for those with a keen eye for detail my disregard for such design protocols would be offensive
It was never my intention to have the pic match the text in position, like most mags.
The rather bright colour scheme was during the 90's before I had the car, the data from the DVLA says that colour change from green to
yellow/purple was registered in dec94, and to blue in Jan01. Incidentally it would appear by the same chap, although there had been two other owners
in the mean time, he had sold it and then bought it back.
Below are a couple of pics of the Mazda Xedos 6 you mention that were the inspiration.

Sorry for the double post but this image is better
No need to apologise when it's a picture like that. I do like nice cars in nice scenery pictures
my Live Axle Fury with Phoenix bodywork, from France:
I've had 4 JPSC's
My first was in 1994, a MkIII Striker which was one of only 6 I believe made with swept wings. Cross flow powered, don't have a picture
electronically of that one
Then there was one if the first SEi Westfields, used their own alloy housing for an English diff, crossflow again
Then a break for 10 years while I went road rallying in a 309 Gti and a 205 Gti 16v. Satisfied an obsession with the integrale for 8 years too.
I've also had motor cycles for 25 years too
In 2011 I bought Striker MkII rebodied as a Phoenix with a 1300 crossflow, sold to a man in Italy who drove it home!

In 2012 I bought another Striker, a MkII with a crossflow. It had done 20miles in 12 years

Then in June of this year I picked up an STM R1 Phoenix. The car was purportedly factory built in 2005, yet if you saw it you would struggle to
believe the fact. Originally I believe fitted with an St1100 (Honda Pan European) engine, the R1 (5VY) engine was retrofitted. The car has a quaife
LSD and reversing box, 4 pots brakes and fancy Spa tachometer. The prevoius owner paid £15k in 2006, did Silverstone once and it sat in his garage.
Suffice to say I didn't pay anywhere near 15K for it but still probably too much!

My Fury Race Car running a 919 Blade Engine
Description
My Striker, live axle, 1660 crossflow, big valve head, 234 cam, dry sump, twin webers, duplex valve springs, duplex chain, tooth 1" water pump/
Alt drive belt. Picture from last year, it has proper seats now.
Built 1993, owned by me since May 2013.
Finished 2 years and 5 thousand miles ago. Just updated the engine with throttle bodies and Emerald ECU.
Hi Adrian
Think i saw you and the car in Horncastle about a month ago.
What tbs did you use in the end, if you went for Jenveys they are tight arent they, especially if you go for a dome filter.
My build is at the final stage of bodywork but reckon it will be on the road spring next year.

Here is my Striker.

Just bought my old car back, needs a bit of work. Bodywork will probably need replacing if I ever sell it again. MOT passed today, no advisories and
scary moment in the rain .

That looks better than you described it. Do you have any details on the motor?
I thought you didn't do "scary moments in the rain"
Here's my 'new' Striker. Collected today from a fellow LCBer ! Let the rebuild begin!

Glad you got back safely Wyn
Fine one Wyn
Cheers Joe! It's good to be back fiddling!
And here's the engine - just arrived from Dave Andrews - quite nice for a 1400 :-)

Yep it's a VVC head on a 1.4 - a bit of a rarity I think!
That should rev then. What kind of power is expected?
Red line will be around 9500. Power is an unknown! It's basically a Dave Andrews' 1900 (nothing basic about that!) with a shorter stroke.

Undergoing a minor bit of winter prep at the moment; new steering rack, de-rust and repaint front chassis, new front splitter to incorporate a flat
bottom to the sides of the sump.
Having fun at Prescott a couple of years ago:
Prescott
Rebuild my Leader after driving it for a year to find out exactly what I want and that there's almost nothing that
can compare to the fun of driving a kitcar.
Unfortunaly I only have pictures uploaded of the beginning of the "restobuilding" .....if you want to see these, then look at :
http://home.kpn.nl/haas0224/sjitcar.html
.....and sorry for the big pictures.
If the moderator has some spare time....please crop them a bit :-)
