Fiat tipo lights
Got 2017 fiat tipo so not sure how the main lights work.
I'm used to 3 way switch : off, side and main. Full is pull/push on the stalk.
This has 2 way. It seems off is off or may be main when it gets dark. On, the 2nd, position seems to be side lights.
Anyone know for sure?
Also at lower rh side is a bank of 6 or 8 switches. What are the 2 leftmost ones for?

If it's like the 500s, off is off , on is headlamps on with engine running, and if switched on while ignition is off operates sidelamps only.
The drl lamps will be on with engine running and switch in off position.
Again if like the 500 the switches your're refering too are for the trip computer menu, and also control the headlamp leveling.

Seems to be the same, I thought the switches were adjusting the beam throw.
So if light stalk is in on position when engine is started, then it is side lights on and the only way to get main is to turn off the engine and then
restart it with stalk in off position!!???!!
Not very convenient when you are on the motorway.
3 way switch does exactly what anyone could want, when you want so why change it.

Is there a thing called a manual ? Maybe in the glove box?

Assuming a 2016 doesn't vary massively from a 2017?

Thanks for the help with this (the manual pages scanned are not quite the same) . I don't read manuals, ask for directions or where the pasta
or other food items are in tesco..
If a manual is required to operate the headlights then that is some f%%%Ed up design. The off/side/main system has been unused for 40+years and needs
no improvement. I do not want to be hurtling at 67 mawph on the m40 flicking switches wondering if lights are on.
Car has been dropped off, and I'm still not 100% sure main lights were on as I was expecting ultra bright not yellowish beam... But reckon they
were on due to some sensor...
