Zetec n Shopping

Just been out in the Locost now 2.0 Zetec powered..
Sunny.. No oil leaks.. Starts smooth .. runs sweet..

Oh did I say..

Sounds fantastic - goes like *hit off a shovel.. extremely happy!

Just been to Aldi this morning - put '5 bags' of shopping in the car ..

Who said 'impractical' phaaaa ...

(The swap from 1700 crossflow to Zetec has been very impressive!)

Sitting eating Bacon n Egg with a cuppa looking at the car has never been so good!

Am so envious. Gotta silvertop, but its just a bare engine. And very dirty. Suspect it might just be a source of spares. Will find out more as I strip away the c**p.

Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Still trying!!

Great engine for a modest 7.

Reasonable power, very easy to work on and lots of available conversion parts.

The engine is cheap and can be fitted for pennies or loss of pounds depending on what you want.

I too have been out in my new Zetec powered Indy this morning (pinto 2.0 to zetec 2.0 upgrade)... Tax'd it from the beginning on this month, so today was the first time I've been anywhere in it... did 75 miles... sounds great, and is really smooth.
I just need to fix the damn squeak from the poly bushes and a squeak from the clutch and I'll be a happy chappie !

Was going to take it to Stoneleigh on it's maiden voyage tomorrow, but I need to take the van instead so I've got somewhere to put all the goodies i'm going to get.
