Victory by design
First time I've caught an episode of this on discovery turbo and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the Alfa Romeo episode and lived upto its New
York times description of 'Car pornography'! It's hosted by Alain de Cadenet of Amanda de Cadenet and 'low flypast spitfire
fame' who's not shy in giving priceless classic machinery a good wragging it seems!
Great shots of the cars, historical info, locations and engine soundtracks to die for.
The series was made for the yank cable channel speedvision so one of the reasons I hadn't seen it before. Marques covered in the series are
Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Porsche, Ferrari and Lotus. Going by the wiki there are also Corvette,Ford Muscle and Grand Prix greats.
The next episode is on discovery turbo channel 523 at 2pm tomorrow, well worth checking out

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

I have seen most of them as I have Speed TV, they were done a few years ago and there was talk of putting the shows on DVD's for sale. One DVD
for each program. Good stuff.

Hi
I watched the Alfa programme last night but it was not as good as tonight's programme on Aston Martin.
I didn't know that Aston Martin made such beautiful cars. I was drooling by the end of the show. I wish I had lived here in the early
1950's to see these cars racing past my home in Dundrod.
I agree with you ^^^ Alain de Cadenet does not hold back on giving the cars a good thrashing.
It's Ferrari tomorrow night; should be an interesting show.

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Just a heads up - It's 'Victorious design day' on discovery turbo (523) so if you missed any episodes you'll be in your
element.
Obviously discovery thought we'd like a kneckful of De Cadenet on fathers day
