found it on web advertised as a morgan and are asking 3k for it.

Thought it was whey too expensive and just checking.

Or am I whey off and they should be fetching more than the 3k asking price?

It's not a morgan, and it's not worth 3k..
Mind you I do still like them - if you do too, make it clear that it's not a Morgan, and make an appropriate offer.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Only interested as you don't often see REAL morgans for 3k and was almost sure its not a Morgan.

Just double checking!!!

Thanks for the replies

If anyone finds a REAL Morgan for 3K, it's either stolen or the owner is visually challenged! (Oh, and please let me have their phone number). At upwards of 30K for the standard Morgan Roadster, I think someone is trying to sell a Porky

Cortina Mk3 to Mk5 based Spartan ---- a mate built one against my advice, having driven it awful is the only word to describe the experience..

Real Morgans aren't that great either whole chassis wobbles like a jelly tunning fork at certain speeds on anything but billiard table smooth roads.

Quite right, I've look into getting one a while back and went right off them. 10 years old is old for a Morgan and then they are a nightmare to repair, far better off with a GRP kit car. I'd honestly say my JBA Falcon is a superior car in just about every aspect to a Morgan.

Did you see the 'return of the Falcon' at the show? Still one of my favourites, first kit car I wanted to build

My Mom had a Morgan when I was born - we lived in a mining village 50 miles from the nearest tarred road so much travelling on corrugated gravel roads - she sold it when I was old enough to crawl as my Dad felt that I might crawl out whilst she wasn't looking.

She never complained about the handling or ride on gravel roads - but then she was fastest and best driver I have ever ridden with who always drove about 30% faster than the speed limit and never had an accident in 65 years of driving and was always able to fix her own cars.
