Wrong car for the weather...

...but it was nice to start it up. I like snow but I'm missing going for a drive.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I think there's a good chance of frostbite driving a seven in this weather for any distance

That's quite a slope you've got there, even the houses are leaning.

I drove the field to mansfield and back from uttoxeter for the wscc meeting on the promise of a free pint.

I didnt get the free pint but it was a good drive, with a decent number of layers on the top half, hat and gloves, and a towel over my knees which doubled to wipe the inside of screen warmth wasnt an issue. Although with the damp salty roads and typical candle powered headlights it was a stark remind of the totally shocking visabilty avilable. Ok on the lit a50/m1 sections and on isolated country roads, but with on comming headlights on an unlit road it was close to a lottery as to if i knew where i was driving.

Oh I don't know, no waiting around for ages for the ice to clear from the windscreen. No suffering from the cabin not warming up (because it's not going to full stop)

I was plenty warm enough going to work on my moped last year

Neil Everett posted this pic of his trip out in the Mojo today on facebook. You have to admire the dedication!

Mine's safely tucked up in the workshop with various parts all over the bench...
