1978 C3 Corvette

We bought this last month
1978 Chevy Corvette 5.7 V8



its a fresh import so not road legal yet.
The head gaskets have gone and its missing a few interior bits so if anyone has any corvette bits laying around give me a shout

The Americans can't do much right, but they can do muscle cars.
Not exactly my cuppa tea, but does look impressive.
And not sure whats going to cost more, the fuel bill or rear tyre bill

Very Nice & good choice

Here's a few pics of my dads 1981 Corvette Stingray, he's had it for about 7 years now, put a brand new engine out of the crate in it last year & supercharged it, running around 450bhp & a bag full of torque

Its not injection it has a Rochester carb

5.7l v8 and it puts out a massive 195bhp 260lbft
it has a lot of emissions stuff on it even a CAT. who says the Americans are the biggest polluters




new inlet better flow and a lot lighter

195 bhp but 265lbf

emissions kill the bhp and it only revs to 5k
