All of the above notwithstanding...
It appears that the real perpetrator of this incident is nowhere to be seen.
I'm intrigued by the white artic stopped at the front of all this, relatively undamaged, which seems to be the initiator of the pileup.
Looking closely to the pictures, you can just make out damage to the front bumper, so he's rear ended something. But, that something is nowhere
to be seen. Or am I dreaming....
The artic drivers will know by now what that white truck hit, via their radios, so what is the word among the truckies?
Cheers,
Nev.

There is a car on the hard shoulder 1/4 of a mile up.
Not all trucks have CB radios however all trucks are fitted with taco's so everything is recorded anyhow some even with cameras as previously
posted.

Don't think you should have to do motorway on the driving test, atleast get shown how ot do it safe by the instructor, its stressful enough
doing your test! without some pillock going 80!
A bonfire seems more likely because fireworks, unless its the ally pally one just don't give off enough smoke, it seems foolish to do a bonfire
on a field near a motorway.
Maybe they should work to make those 'FOG' signs more accurate, I have been in a car on a motorway, middle of summer, clear as anything
and they are warning fog, this leads to people not trusting them.
I have never driven on the motorway, I wish I could have learnt before the insurance got too high and I had to get shovelled off it

It would make it a bit awkward for people taking their tests down here, the nearest motorway is 110 miles away!"
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Am I the only one who admits he isn't a very good driver? I might be OK at competition, cause I can concentrate and can feel the car etc, but on
the road, I've had a few accidents (some my fault, some not). People shouldn't let their knobs rule so much, and admit that there are days
we're not so good.
