Valintine brownie points in the bag!
Well I may not win a price at a country fair but I think I’ve done rather well considering this is only my second attempt at a cake... Yip its
valentines today, this being morning having sneaked out of bed for the second night to bake this thing, last night was when I baked it, tonight was
the icing, phew its harder than it looks this icing lark and tbh I just made up the design as I went along having only decided it was going to be
heart shaped. Damn tasty it is though being a sponge cake with chocolate marble swirls and chocolate butter cream filling
Spent almost as long tidying up every last trace of the aftermath, which as you can see I can make quite a mess
Have a good day I know I will

Are you two-timing Jayne, with Missy then?
I've just handed over a card and some choccie's, I know it doesn't sound very romantic, but at 8 months pregnant, we have other
things on our minds!

Oh you poor thing, you're still under the impression that we can cash them in...
You either redeem them there and then for sexual acrobatics, or you wait until you fudge up and then remind them of the iced cake on valentines day
etc...

How on earth did she not smell the cake cooking and wake up? Mine would smell a bit of cake a mile off.
Looks good bud and top idea.
Got mine some roses and a card. Havent handed them over yet as shes been up all night with the shits and spu's which she caught off my daughter
so no doubt im in for it too judging by the churning in my stomach. Oh well its saved me cooking the nice dinner i wa going to do.

You deluded men
You only EVER get 1 brownie point, you cannot gain more or store them up for multiple benefits.
In quantum mechanics the brownie point is like a Nutreno, in theory it is there but no one has proved there existance, also a brownie point is like
the speed of light, the closer you get to one the more energy you need.
I would suggest that while Mr Whippy's efforts are highly commendable that the mess left in the kitchen will have evaporated the brownie point
before the icing had set
I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)

I always figured there'd be a catalogue to show how you can spend your points.
You know, like the one's you used to get at BP garages years ago. You could get a toy car for 10 points, but if you hung around and collected a
million, you could have a wekend at Butlins.
I might draft a proposal for such a thing.

Mr W, it's all well and good doing that this year, but you are setting a high bar, which will be difficult to 'top' next year!
My advice is to keep the expectations and the bar low so simple but well meant gestures and gifts have as much meaning as big ones!
I hope what you do next year doesn't get compared to this years as the effort you have put in this year is big! Two nights without sleep, thats
true LOVE!
BTW - it looks great!

I was aybe Shell or Esso then - all I remember was reading throgh the cataogue as a kid wishing my mum would mysteriously clock up 1,000,000 miles so
I could get a new skate board.
The principle would be the same for Brownie Points though - you have to clock up a totally unreasonable number of them i order to get cheap and nasty
reward.
