I'm looking into building my own triple 'DCOE' manifold to take 3 Jenveys.
Is there a standard distance between the two carbs? if so can anyone tell me what it is, or have a manifold they could measure the centres for me?
Cheers.

DCOE
Should there be a standard distance,i suspect the tolerances to be + and - an inch or 2!
Seriously, the spacing must depend on what throttle linkage you intend utilising surely?
I agree but, many manufacturers make manifolds and linkages, which seem to be compatible, so I assumed there is probably a standard, and as I'm scratch building I though I would follow the standard. Its not that importand, but, from an engineering viewpoint it is the right thing to do.
The linkages between a pair of DCOE's usualy involve a
long metal tab to allow different spacings to work.
A performance manifold designer would be looking to gets the runners as straight as possible (esp. for short manifolds).
Hi pete. the manifold in the picture looks like a Zetec manifold if so I can tell you that when a pair are fitted to that manifold they carbs touch together I fitted a pair on min and had to shave a small amount off one of the spindles
