Nice aren't they?

I think there's a few styling cues taken from it in the new SLS.

I'm with ash i'm afraid, that looks much better!!!!

I think on the new one it is a shame they didn't design the doors with out the handles

ReMan - 25/1/10 at 09:51 PM

The white retro one is a beaut! Thoguh I think its almost TOO smooth without some minimal bumpers?
The new one nice, but as said someone forgot the door handles and glued them on later!

ashg - 25/1/10 at 09:56 PM

it can never bee too smooth

anyone know a kit/bodywork producer for the classic sl300?

I like them both alot but i also prefer the second one. Has an almost 'hotrod' look to it

Humbug - 26/1/10 at 08:14 AM

...according to Wikipedia, the roadgoing version was built from 1955, so actually 55 years old this year!

it is if you close your eyes and pretend its outside parked in the garage

carpmart - 26/1/10 at 12:07 PM

The white one has an almost Volvo fastback (can't remember the name) look to it as well as some Swedish design points as well! (anyone getting a bit of Saab)

I LOVE IT!!!!!!
