Busa battery then, they are all good if you buy a decent brand.

The equivalent of the redtop 25 is the oddessey 680.
Dimensions and power are almost identical but the oddessey is a bit cheaper.

You should be able to pick up a Yuasa battery for the Busa for about £40-50 I reckon

Chris Mason has just posted a thread to well priced batteries.

I'm sure if you search his posts you'll find it in the past 5 - 10...

I'm using a Varta battery although it is not sealed. I looked for ages and struggled to find a sealed battery with the + & - the correct way round. The MNR loom is laid out (and when I fitted it to my car) for the + to be on the right hand side, where as most batteries + is on the left hand side.

The model number is YB14L-A2 and available from any motor factor.

I don't use my car that often and they all die quickly IME if you don't keep them conditioned. I spent a year messing around with chargers and boosters to start it before giving in and buying an optimate.

I bought one of these today for my Z1000; £ 27 inc acid and postage Ok, so not a Varta but probalby comes from the same Chinese factory

I'm not 100% sure what I paid for it but i'm sure it was no more than £40 inc acid.

The one you have bought looks ok to me.
