Nippon Denso alternator connections
Hello,
I have a Nippon Denso alternator but can't work out the connections to it from my wiring loom. I am using a Vicki Green loom from Robin Hood
and it has three wires to the alternator. One is a very heavy duty brown wire which I have attached as in the picture. The other two are brown and
brown / yellow. Any idea on how I can connect them?
Regards
Steve

Well I followed the link to Robin Hood and realised that I shouldn't have had a permanent live and that I needed to power the lead from the
dashboard lamp. Sorted those and then ran the engine and it worked perfectly, thanks.

Here are the pictures.
I used the b & c terminals, not sure what way round but it would only work one way.
Mitch, not really sure if the charging part is working yet as I haven't tested that. The ignition light goes out at the charging circuit is
showing 14 Volts when the engine is running and also not running. As there was no difference I was a little curious but I could only test it at tick
over so I will look into it further later on.

Rover Mazda and Honda used that model in the late 1990's early 2000's
One of the small terminnals ISTR the centre but not 100% sure is a square wave duty cycle signal to the ecu it is not required for everything to
work.
Denso Alt Duty Cycle Idle
The other small terminnals are warning lamp and battery voltage sensing.
