There's loads of topics on this one, one just before the weekend...

45A is what I use on mine. You don't need anything bigger.

Can't seeclearly around your engine mount, but two of the three mounts (the square land above the waterpump outlet and the one between numbers 1 and 2 primaries in your second pic) are certainly present and unoccupied

Scratch that, I'm talking bobbins, I wa slooking at the wrong lands. I think you've used the opnes required for your engine mounts

Don't have my digi cam so here's the ebst I can find off the net. I have the first type on my car; second type is off a Fiesta depending what type of alternator you're using. Escort is over hung(!), Fiesta is over mounted (IYSWIM)

I junked the standard Tiger supplied Lucas LRA101 for a Nippondenso alternator off a Daihatso Hijet van. It was about 2/3rds the size but gave plenty of output to keep the battery topped up and was much more reliable (i fried 3 Lucas alternators as they wouldnt take the high revs with the Tiger supplied pulley!!!).

It looks like this anyway (paid around £20 from a breakers) ......

^^^^^^^

Same here. I mounted in a very similar way but on a blacktop with serpentine belt to run the waterpump. Mine came from a Suzuki Swift in the scrappy. I've since picked up a similar one for my next project from a Kubota grass machine.

Cheers

You can get away with an even smaller alternator if you use my LED lights. It will probably save you 5A or more when the lights are switched on
