What are these?

EDIS4 on the left obviously but what are the others? They have a vacuum take off type thingy which the EDIS4 doesn't.

They have '89FB-12A297-BB' on them.

they are ignition control units, similar to the edis 4 but advance is contolled with the vac connection, you could use one to run a zetec for example instead of using a megajolt as all the spark control is built into that "esc" unit

ESC = Electronic Spark Control

According to Mr Haynes Manual there are several iterations of this system which seems to have been introduced to replace the older Inductive Discharge system.
