5 pin Relays 87a or 87 b what the difference ?
Right.
Most car electrics I am getting the hane of, but I have a selection of 5 pin relays the main difference is the 87 a or 87 b middle pin.
Before I go mad ( ok madder then ) what is the difference between these two types of relay.

Hi,
They appear to be different relay types. 87a is a changeover relay (when 85 / 86 have power, the output switches from 87a to 87)
87b is a relay with two outputs, it appears, that join 87 and 87b together to 30.
Diagram probably better
