relays

Me again , can anybody tell me if i need a seperate relay for the indicators and hazzards or if they run on the same one , does anyone have a wiring diagram for how they go , many thanks

Same relay/clicky box, then a twin gang switch required for hazards. Sorry no diagram but in basic you terms switch to earth via the bulb, either left or right with the stalk. The hazard switch merely connects both when thrown.

You wire it by taking a feed from the relay to both poles on the supply side to the hazard switch then output connects to each indicator circuit in turn.

I don't know what switches you're using, but this is how my Durite rockers are wired.

The hazard switch supplies an ignition switched 12v to the relay when it's off so the indicators only work with the ignition on. When the ignition's off, the hazard switch when turned on supplies a permanant 12v to the relay.
