Angle of fog light & rear panel
Anyone know how far from vertical we can get away with with respect to the foglight? Mine is 22 degrees off vertical as shown in my quick sketch
below.

It has to be vertical - they check it with a big L-shaped gauge.

It has to be vertical so i guess 1 or 2 deg tolerance max. You wont get away with your pic.
i mounted mine from a bracket that is fastened to the chassis. Later i can move to wherever i want.
Others have fabricated a bracket behind so they can mount in same position as you are indicating.

i bought a light support from tiger, this was for a traditional rear light setup. cut the centre out of it, bonded the 2 parts back together and
painted it.
looks neet and purpose made, and all for a tenner. also sva proof

I used the s-v-c carbon light mountings and I would say that my fog light is probably 10 degrees off the vertical mounted on my Indy rear panel.
Passed SVA at Beverley at this but I suppose it depends on the tester/station.
