Yep deffo the cam position sensor... but while we're at it anyone know what the little grey box is on that pic next to the coilpack with a two
pin connection?? Some kind of suppression capacitor??

Hi Piddy,
As the others have said, it is the camshaft position sensor and is used for sequential injector triggerring. AFAIK most aftermarket ECU's dont
bother with this, I know Megasquirt doesn't and so this connection can be ignored.
