Reverse light plug
Don't know if anybody can help me out, I have been trying to get hold of the plug that fits the reversing light contacts on the type 9 box, with
no luck. Henleys say no longer made/stocked, and my local scrappy just doesn't have any old fords in the yard.

Bullet crimps do fit but if space is tight they can protrude too far. The proper plug is at 90 deg and is quite slim.

I'm not fitting reversing lights. I'll have a look at the weekend if I can find the plug from my donor...
Are you a Mac user or a retard?

Be careful Andy. There seems to be conflicting advice with SVA and Constructions and Use as to wether reverse lights are required or not. Ive read
manual and it suggests they are voluntary but some centres seem to favour them. Im not sure how you stand at MOT time as well.
The other grey area is if you have bec with no reverse gear.
Im sure there will be a few views expressed. At the end of the day you might get away with or you might not. I took Mac#1's advice and fitted
one but off a bracket from rear of chassis so it can be removed later if i wish to.

Just pop along to your nearest scrap yard, they usually have a Sierra or two with the plug and wire still there.
