Ulrika-ka-ka !! FAO Britishtrident aka AWM
Spot the broken bit - might explain the complete lack of charging from the alternator.
Andy - is this the regulator / brush pack that you said you might have a spare one of ?
Cheers
John F
P.S. In the picture in the background - th fat bloke leaning in the metro window at the PCT - that's me that is. I'm so media friendly these
days.

No no no - you've got it all wrong. I'm that fuzzy in real life.
P.S. Your diesel metro is the very thing for a production car trial. Not quite as good as a base model citroen ax, but none too bad either.

I thought fuzzy wuzzies were made up.
You weren't asking him if the alternator had failed scrutineering and had to be confiscated then
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

It had a concealed flux capacitor feeding back into the grungethrobler.
As we all know, this is banned in that particular class.
I had to send him home.

Yes thats type I have I will be most of tomorrow but will leave it out on the door step for you,
I also have a special tool (actually a bar welded to a socket) for removing the pulley nuts on these alternators.
