Lucas DR3A Wiper Motor I.D.
Here's hoping the LCB collective will be able to help me on this wiper motor question. Have searched back posts, and discovered this thread : -
http://locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=139898.
This has provided some clues as to the identity of my wiper motor. It is about 45 years old, unused but dusty (am cleaning it up). AFAIK it was
supplied as OE equipment to Longbridge, for fitting on a "Classic" Mini. Does anybody know if there was a relevant part number for this
motor? Is there anybody her with more specific auto electrics knowledge re Lucas stuff?
I found this serial(?) number on the cover plate - 75488D. Could this be its ID number? Hope someone out there can help.
Discovered this via Google -

Is that the wiper motor with the round body and a 5 or6 pin multi Plug?
Can't help with any part numbers but presume you probably need the drive gear which wasn't supplied with the motor?
Staffordshire Vehicle Components (S.V.C) website may be of help for parts and the RHOCAR forum showed the wiring at one time?
Hope this helps.

I found a document some time ago, showing the lucas parts fitted to the triumph range
a search for "Lucas_Girling_1971" should find the document

No - its the older version with the square body (more than 45 years old). Thanks for your suggestion re S-V-C, although their website no longer
has that relevant info.

Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
