Dash switches

Hi guys i took my dashboard off to trim it and a few wires came loose, i found one loose wire that i think came from the fog so plugged it back into where i thought it went. I have 6 savage switches and now the fog light one doesn't illuminate and the fog light comes on when I push the button but as soon as I let go off it the light goes out.
I've got my mot this week so really need to sort it.

If the fog light works properly when you push the button but doesn't stay on, it sounds like its wired correctly but something is loose. The savage switches work through an in-built micro switch that the bit of the switch that you press pushes into to make a mechanical connection. It may be that these to bits have become a little separated so that the micro switch on the relay is not latching when you press the button.
