savage switch wiring
hi all
electrics all done apart from fog light.
i have a savage switch to use for my fog light. problem is, i dont know how to wire it.
can any help preferably with a diagram or which wire goes to each number on savage switch.
also do i need a relay, or is that small box at back of switch the relay

thanks, that looks ok to do. (im not very good at wiring)
just another quick question.
for iva, the fog light can only come with main or dip beam. i was going to use the earth wire from pin 56 on switch which only becomes an earth when
the main or dips are operated. where would i connect this wire on that diagram? or if you could possibly tell me another way of wiring.

take a live from both the dipped and main beam and connect a diode to each with the white band away from the wire. Then connect the other two legs
together and to the coil terminal on a relay. Connect a ground to the relay, then put your live feed to the fog through the relays switching
contacts
That will make the fog only work with dipped or main beam and because of the diodes won't back feed.

its all sorted now. should have posted.
i used the earh wire on pin 56 of column to act as my switch on relay then used the source pin on relay to provide power to switch.
have checked it, and all seems to work fine
