Changing Indicator Bulbs - How to get to??

I bought new indicators off ebay (pic below), and they were fitted with clear bulbs (in clear housing = white light!). They've sent me replacement orange bulbs but I'm buggered if I can figure out how to open them up to get the new ones on!

I've tried pulling and turning the bottom but it seems the amount of force I need is enough to break it.

Anyone have similar and know how they open? The "stork" is quite squidgy and distorts under twist. Rescued attachment indicator.jpg

I think that you will find that the whole lamp casing pulls off the rubber mounting, then change the bulb and with a little lubricant the lense cover slides back on.

At least thats how I've changes my bulbs.

Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

isn't it a case of just popping off the clear lens?

Yep, that did it. Didn't like trying that in the first instance in case it was sealed on or the tabs broke. Thankfully, neither of those prophecies occured
