IGNITION SWITCH

Help please.

What i am asking has been covered here in the last few weeks but cannot find it know i need it, i have done a search with no joy.

I have an lucas ignition start switch with 4 terminals on the back, or maybe 2 there are two in a u shape making 4 terminals, the operation of the switch is off and on.

My engine is an R1.

My question is what do i connect to what.

a picture may help?

If its two connections then i would have thought just cut the ignition line and connect to the switch.

Or through a relay and cut the main posistive. (might not need a relay depending on the current rating of your switch)
