indicator sounder
Evening all
Well I'm stumped as usual on the electrics. I temp wired a sounder across the flasher relay pins 31(earth) & 49a(indicator switch) the 3rd
pin is 49(positive)
ignition off and hazards on the lights flash and the tone alternates with the lights, fantastic i thought I've cracked it.
However turn the iginition on and the sounder warbles at about 3 times normal flash speed even though the indicator stalk is in the off position.
so how do I get round the warble when the ignition is on and the indicators are off? is there an easy solution?
please help as i thought I'd actually sussed it on my own, should of known better
cheers

IMHO... I would join the left and right hand indicatorw wires together with 2 diodes and run that through the buzzer to ground...

Would the last person who leaves the country please switch off the lights and close the door!

And "earth" the buzzer via your brake lights, after the switch.
This means when you are sitting waiting at the lights, foot on brake, it doesn't beep all the time.
Or if you feel fancy try the attached diagram

many thanks for your ideas, must admita lot of it went over my head. It's sorted now as I have a buld on the dash for left and right. I simply
bought another sounder and wired one to each bulb removing the need for delving into diodes etc.
Thanks for the help though I appreciate it.
