Where on earth do you get Megajolt kits!!!
I'm getting really frustrated trying to find anyone who does kits in the UK.
I am competent enough to solder one up just need to find where to get one.
Not keen on importing one myself but i will as a last resort.
I only need a simple set up (1.8 zetec on TPS bike carbs).
Any other solutions (cheaper the better) or suggestions are very welcome. I've on got to make her spark and I'm away!!!
Thanks
Dan

Odered the hard rev limiter recently direct from autosport labs
It arrived after a couple of weeks and was drama free
Importing the kits are not that big a deal and at least you know all the money goes straight to Brent and the team :-)

If it's that easy i'll do that then.
What do i need to order? I have 1.8 zetec with TPS carbs. Zetec has VR crank sensor. Do I need the toothed wheel thingy as well??
Thanks

Trigger wheel is part of the fly wheel in the zetec 36-1 holes drilled in the back.

So i just connect the megajolt straight to the crank VR sensor, EDIS and TPS and don't need to buy a toothed wheel thingy from them??
Sorry for sounding dumb just don't want to order the wrong thing
Thanks

Yes the toothed wheel is on the back of the Zetec Flywheel , which makes things really easy as its all aligned to start with :-)
You will need an EDIS4 module and connector and the Jolt ECU
(assuming you have the original coil pack and VR sensor and some wiring)
They (EDIS4 units) are becoming rarer in scrappys down here, but they are still seemingly being listed on eBay
I think there was talk of an EDIS less version of Megajolt on the horizon -one of the reasons I suggested buying direct as it all helps keep the
project alive and being developed :-)

Yeah, in the end i got a secondhand but unused one off ebay. £90 inc hard cut rev limiter.
- Trigger sensor and edis (and edis plug) of ebau ull up for about £25.
- Coilpack, four HT leads and a suitable TPS and some cable for the lot from the local scrapper for about £10.
Got the edis plug with the unit but am currently still using a cut down computer psu lead.

Can't seem to find my EDIS unit anywhere.
Looked on the engine and on the bulkhead.
Zetec 1.8 taken from P reg Escort (don't know if it makes a difference).
What i've got is the coil pack, then next to that is a small grey box with a two wire plug going to it. Is this the unit? I may have lost it
but don't know how.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks

You havnt got an edis as it was built into the ecu.

Dan,
U2U sent with details of a U.K. megajolt supplier I used in 2006. Not posted his details here in case he no longer does them. If he`s still on the
scene let me know and I`ll post up the details for everyone else.
