Anyone know what this is?

Ive had the car for a while now, and i still dont know.
When i press it with the ignition on, it illuminates, and is a momentary switch.

Anyone shed any light (haha) on this? I think its a renault switch.

Whats is it??
Whats is it??

Kindest Regards,
Richard.

Its on my kit car, which has Sierra and renault donor parts.

The symbol looks more like a solenoid, and it doesnt kill the engine when i press it. I tried to get it our earlier to have a look at the wiring, but ill need to give it some more persuasion later.

looked at sideways it kind of looks like a radiator with the cap at the top, something to do with the water level? or even a brake reservoir bottle?

Beaten to it...

Odd that it passed SVA with it. The fluid warning light has to have the correct symbol.
ie. (!) illuminating in red
Was the only specified symbol before IVA
