EDIS to coil confusion
I've seen a post on here about this subject and specifically relating to a right way and a wrong way of wiring up the EDIS 4, but I can't
find a definitive answer. Which pins on the EDIS go to which pins on the coil plug. Some diagrams have EDIS pin 10 to Coil 1 and EDIS pin 12 to coil 3
and some have it the other way around. Anyone know which is right?
This one?

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

That's interesting becasuse it came from the autosports website, yet differs to the one I was actually sent with the MJ.

I'll have a look at the wires later (as done by Mr Ford in 1992 )

I took the whole tree from a fiesta, so didn't have to worry about this, but it doesn't matter much. If it's not right, then just
swap the ignition leads (1 on 2 and 3 on 4 and vice versa)

As I understand it , it dosnt matter which way round they are - all thats happening is two coils are being fired alternately .
Neither the coil , the edis or the megasquirt care weather they firing 1+4 or 2+3 - it wont make the slightest bit of difference to how it runs .
Unless you already have the plug leads and they will only fit one way around........
It apparently matters on a 6 cylinder coil due to heat build-up , but mine is wrong (found out after I had spent £125 on plug leads ) , I didnt
change it and 18 months later still no problems

Thanks all - appreciated. I agree that in the scheme of things it doesn't matter really, but I have fitted plug leads that need to be in a
certain order.
