Battery cut off switch
Not sure if this is on the correct thread or not, apologies if it isn't.
The Luego is now ready for our first season of sprinting but as a last minute addition I've decided to fit a cut off switch. Now there are
several threads on here that describe how the need to be wired but not how to site them. If I follow the race regs and fit one in reach of the driver
and another outside of the car how do I do that. Do I have two cut offs in series or would the second one operate via a pull cable? If it's that
second option I can't see how the cable could attach to the switch. Anyone any ideas how it's done.

Usual mounting location is on the outside of the body about were the windshield post would be fitted (if you have one) so that it can be reached by
both the driver or an official if the driver is not able.

Another way I've seen since I started since I started this is to mount the switch in the engine bay next to the battery (keeps down the weight
of the extra cable) and it's operated from both inside and outside with (2) pull cables, looks neater, all the messy bits are hidden.
Using the standard wiring diagram (FIA type switch)
Number 2 terminals go to coil and ignition , does that mean a wire direct to a spare terminal on the coil and any switched live feed will do for the
ignition (not a sparky as you can probably tell)

Reading the wiring diagram from the top, the battery cable and resistor ones are fairly self explanatory, it's the coil and ignition switch ones
I could do with some help with.

Thread resurrection
OK guys we've switched from the Crossflow to a Zetec running EDIS/Coilpacks/Megajolt, how do I wire up the coil feed to the cut off switch

Same again mate
Assuming coil pack gets power from ignition switch..
live from ignition switch (via a fuse would be good) to the connector no2 N/C on the cutoff switch to coilpack (center pin)
Not sure how you have wired EDIS, coilpack and jolt in, but assuming they all share a common 12v feed via a fuse, its the wire I would cut and put
onto connector pair labelled 2 (N/C) on the cutoff
(after double checking how much current connector 2 it is rated at and looking at the current draw of EDIS coilpack and EDIS added together)
Will do a bad paint diagram if you are still scratching your head :-)
