A bit Fussy, but an R1 electrics question !
On the R1 are the brackets that hold the relays/fusebox part of the frame or are they bolt on brackets?
I want to mount mine on my car but just wanted to know if I had to make them or just ask malc to save me some

I made a plate and bolted it to the chassis. You can then put them where you want them and as the plate only required four holes you don't have
to put as many holes in the chassis. Malc should have left the rubber mounts on most of them.
I think I am going to mount the fuses on the battery tray to allow easy access in the future.
Make sure you mount the rectfier so that air folows across it.

Thanks for the photos!
Looks like another set of handmade parts coming up.
Is the "heatsink" aluminium ok for the rectifier?

Martin,
If its anything like mine was all the relays etc had a rubber band like affair on the back of them that nicely accepted a 20-25mm flat bar and held
them firlmly but reduced the vibration.
If you look at this below it you might get the idea.

My ecu doesn't have a fixing braket at the sides and my fusebox looks like the rubber is missing. Everything else has the rubber housing.

MK deal with the ecu like the photo and the fuses can be dealt with in the same way. Locoboy has done exactly the same as me just looks a bit more
spread out.
