what do each of the points go to, i know its only four wires and ive googled it but cant find it?
switch rear
switch front
At a guess are the middle 2 the +ve and -ve for illumination and the outer 2 the +ve and -ve for the switch

not sure if thats right as its a 2 speed wiper switch
the one on westfield world looks different
Earth connection at the side for internal light
pin 9 on the westsfielt one is often connected interanally to the internal light so may be missing on your type of switch
that leaves the other 4 pins.
Paul
ps Sorry about the typing but already on the beer.
Have a play with a 9v battery and bulb or voltmeter to check which is witch.
unless nine is on the other side to the earth? maybe?
did not spot the tab on each side..sounds right to me
The 2 small tabs either side of the switch are for the illumination, the others are 12v feed, speed1, speed2 and park ( the park becomes live/links to
the 12v feed terminal when the switch is turned off)
if you can use a multi meter its easy to work out
so how do i link them together for the park or does the switch do that?
Finally Grusks answered without guessing which doesnt really help. As said, the terminals are live, speed 1, speed 2 and park. Your loom should will
generally have 5 wires going to the wiper motor - the 4 above plus an earth.
Built too many aeroscreened cars to remember the colour codes now but light green is generally the live feed to the switch / wiper motor.
no i have all the wires sorted out, i have 4 wires for the switch and the 5 for the motor its just knowing were the 4 go to, i have them all labeled but need to know what points to connect them to
using a multi meter
put the switch to the off position - (2 of the terminals should be connected)
put the switch on speed 1 ( one of the terminals from the above test and a spare terminal should now be connected )
put the switch on speed 2 ( the same terminal from first test should be connected to the last spare terminal )
hope this makes sence.
if a remember right
pin 1 is live
pin 2 is speed 1
pin 3 is missing
pin 4 is speed 2
pin 5 is park wire
