SVC range of Hella mix n match LED's
Hellfire - 19/7/08 at 09:57 AM

We've recently replaced our rear inner lamps with SVC's range of Hella mix n match LED's. They were a straight replacement for our previous indicators and brake light. Very easy to fit and being LED, there is no bulky connectors intruding into the rear wheel space.

Another superb product and extremely efficient service from SVC.

The bottom picture really doesn't do them the justice they deserve. The light output is superb. I'll get another picture of them in the dark to give some idea.........

Hi phil,
I've brought the same light unit,a combined stop and tail light with an indicator outer ring, I am right in thinking that this is all I need and only need to fit one unit per side,I'm a bit worried now seeing that you have two on each side, canm you tell me what the lights are on yours, cheers

If we take the nearside, as pictured...

Both rings are tail lights.
Outer centre is tail/stop light combination.
Inner centre is indicator.

Yours should be fine - at the time we bought ours, they didn't have a ring indicator. So we couldn't use that combination.

Ed,

I was going to use this combo initially but if you need an SVA test it wont pass using the LED as tail and stop - they need to be separate lights. (I was told this first hand by a tester at Beverley).

Hi Nosbod
Combined stop/tail lights & SVA.

Can’t understand this as a huge number of kit cars pass the SVA with combined stop/tail lights. The LED lights seen here have been “E” marked as stop/tail and so, if fitted in the correct position on your car, an SVA tester should not have any problems passing it.

However if you do have a fail because of this, with lights purchased from sVc, PLEASE let me know.

As members of full members of Status (Specialist Transport Advisory & Testing Utility Society) we have direct contact with SVA HQ.
We would need the name of the testing station, the date of test and the tester’s name.
Best wishes

Steve @ sVc

Those lights look superb on your car !!!

I passed SVA at the end of May with LED lights. They're the larger Hella units and the outer ring is stop/tail.

Adrian, where did you find those? They look great.

got same arrangement i.e. stop/tail outer indicator inner also reflector outer with fog one side reverse the other

Don't need the reverse but do need fog for SVA so used reverse for balance
