Could anyone give me a simple alternator circuit diagram? Mine was working fine until last week and now doesn't, no dash light or charge. I assume its a short but can't find the problem so will try rigging up a new, separate circuit to check that the alternator itself is ok. Unless you have a better idea....

btw - the bulb is fine
