Where's the cheapest place to get a set of lights for the car (full car set).
Alternatively, does anyone know if these will pass SVA:

Try www.premierwiring.co.uk he might have some although i dont think they are sva compliant. Dare i say but GTS had some which were sva compliant??
Not if you believe SVC they are e-marked for motorbikes not cars IIRC.
Those headlights will not pass SVA without some serious modification. As well as having the incorrect e-markings, they don't dip to the left.
When it comes to lights, I believe you get what you pay for and when it comes to value for money and customer service, there is no better supplier
than SVC in my opinion.

Got mine from LoLocost, don't know if they are still in business, seem to recall they may have packed in. They do/did a complete set for not a lot of money. HTH Ray
lolocost updated their prices 1 aug 07 so they are probably still in business

They only seem to have 7" lights and they aren't that cheap when you add the postage (£75 ish for a pair)
Premier have 5.25" lights for £25, £55 or £65 a pair, but I'd confirm they will pass SVA first.
Personally I bought the SVC ones and I'm very happy with the quality, but you do pay more for them (lights for life - hopefully).
JCB lights have been used and are cheap and very robust - if a tad agricultural looking.
I'll stick with plan A and fit get my lights from SVC, at least I'll get my BEC Owners Club discount too
£25 a pair from Premier takes 10 sec to convert from lhd to rhd dipping E marked for cars plastic nice and light.
Zero street cred if thats what you are looking for though

Like I said, not bothered about looks as they'll eventually be replaced by the small lights for racing anyway - just need cheapness to pass SVA
(and strangely, I'll be using Caterham rear lights as they're cheaper than anything else!).
Has anybody passed SVA using the under light type indicator units from SVC (Caterham style) - not sure whether they'd be in the wrong place.
The whole set for £140+£15 P&P :
