Anyone know where I can get one of these ?
givemethebighammer - 10/7/05 at 06:53 PM

scrapyard prefered otherwise electronics supplier ?

I think they call them 3 pole junior timer housing ?.

I need to join a TPS sensor to my ecu (this would normally plug straight on to the weber TPS). However I am experimenting with some bike carbs and want to connect the honda TPS to my ECU without butchering the loom.

thanks Rescued attachment connector1.JPG

They look very similar to many of the fuel inj plugs or cam sensor plugs on my v/hall. However i'm not sure if they are 3 pin or not.
If you have a look in a commercial vehicle scrap yard for a leyland daf 7.5 tonner ( i think its a model 45 or a 55 ) then there are plugs with 3 pins similar to these.
Sorry if this is a bit vague i'll try and have a look for one on a new daf tomorrow if i've time.

Looks to be a bosch style connector. Maybe a wander around a scrap yard might yield a european vehicle with the right connector

U2U Colibriman and see if he has a spare bit of loom lying around.

Alternatively, contact a bike breakers

....or scout around a biker gathering with set of wire cutters :O

Try Martin Fox at MEF Motorsport, he is supplying me with the plugs and sockets for my injection.

Hi
The photo is of crank position sensor wiring on a vauxhall vectra type ecotec engine. You could try that.

thanks,

I'm off to scrapyard tomorrow lunchtime to see what I can find. I also found a sierra master cylinder low fluid warning cap in the garage this evening. The plug is the same as the TPS one so I may be able to make a 3 pin male socket from the cap socket.

.........off to scrapyard with pair of wire cutters
thanks

was going to say (too late now!!) that Davewag is dead right, Vauxhall crank position sensor lead has those connectors (and is what is in the pic on an XE I believe)
