i am at the stage now where i want to complete the wiring

firstly do i need permanent lives to hazards/horn/elec fan and sidelights
i will have ignition live to fuel pump/carb/headlights/mainbeam/indicators have i missed anything?

i have attached a drawing of what i want to do wit the dash lights and switches, the hazard switch will illuminate, have i got enough lights or do i need more

thanks for any help or advice ( i tried searching previou posts but didn't find what i wanted)

wont let me attach drawing so i will have 7 warning lights
1 green for indicators
2 blue for lights and main beam
4 red for oil, battery, fog light and handbrake

Thanks

similar to mine, but i had two for the indicators and none for dipped beams.

Your selection for perminant lives is ok, not all are needed (horn for instance) but theres no problem with doing it either way.

I *think* that if your warning lights have symbols on them, they dont need illuminating. Speedo will though.

I cant remember how i made my hazards work without the ignition, but its all sierra switchgear on mine, so i assume it sorted itself out.

Permanent live is only needed for hazards and sidelights, the other two are optional. You don't need a warning light for the sidelights or dip as the clocks light up when they are on. The warning light for the handbrake is usually in the circuit for the level warning test light which has to have the correct marking on the light (!) sort of thing.

handbrake light is in same curcuit a brake fluid level light
i am using sierra column and sierra loom so indicators and hazards should already be sorted out as i haven't altered any of the wiring

had to take a photo of it in the end

what i could do is change the 2 blues to green for indicators and the 1 green to blue for main beam Rescued attachment S2400353.JPG
