My new pump has arrived to replace the Facet and Filter King, simple enough, inlet and outlet plus two wires, wires are solid green and a blue/black
one, anyone hazzard a guess which is earth, which is live (incidentally it's got Mitsubishi badges on it not Honda)

Loads of japanese stuff is mitsibushi branded - nissan, honda, yamaha, its still oem so I wouldn't worry about that.
Not sure about the wires though, wish I could help....
Solid green is ground on Honda bikes and black with all sort of colors for live. And yes these Honda bikes are fitted with Mitsubishi pumps.

Where did you get your new pump from and how much?? Terry Rudd Honda in Holbeach quoted me £154.75 + VAT

Pump was £89, including pump, postage and VAT, total bill was £110.81, I can give you their tel. number/website etc if you want
I left the ordering to my son who is a biker so knows more about them than I do, apparently the pumps were common across all the early Fireblades apparently, 92-98 I think he said
