After a bout of non-starting I've finally tracked it down to the armature.
It's a Ducellier 534036A 12v 2k and the local starter-motor specialist is having problems tracking down a replacement and/or finding someone to rewind it because being 1984 it's off most peoples' lists.
So the question is does anyone know who I can try please?
Alternatively do you have a Lancia Beta starter motor lying around that's servicable?
