JAW update

Spent the weekend megasquirting my 893 blade and plugging in the JAW.

Good results all around, the 5v feedback emulating a LC1 drips into megsquirt correctly allowing me to map the car.

Stll awaiting my cheap display, something for next weekend.

The voltage regulator only gets hot on startup, then ambles along warm, once the sensor is hot the load drops away.

Only two issues, nothing to do with the JAW, if you squirt a bike engine do not take the RPM feedback from the coil packs!

I seem to have upped the bikes torque, clutch breaks free at 8500rpm, it was okay on the carbs now goes everytime I plant the throttle....

I,ll pick a new clutch up in the next few days, the purpose of injection was to turbo at a later stage so I will have to find something that is quite heavy duty.

Problem with 893 blades is a small clutch... the 918's and above have bigger ones.

The JAW is a good saving, which is what we are all after.

Regards Mark
