Crank Sensor Wiring

Hello,

I have a Zetec (I think) 2 pin inductive sensor for my crank pickup - does it matter which pin is earth?

Had exactly the same issue when wiring in my Emerald to the crank sensor on my Zetec SE. Basically try it one way and see if the ECU 'sees it' (on the Emerald the LED changes colour to indicate engine rotation). If it doesn't, just reverse the wires. On the Emerald you can't damage the ECU by getting the wires reversed.
