Pre pump filter Cheap!
Guys,
I've found a source for cheap pre high-pressure pump filters (to fit between the tank and the pump).
Audi part number 811 201 511D, from the old audi coupe (and the almighty urquattro!). It cost me around 5 euros, and has got 12mm connections (as does
my pump!).
The outlet is central, while the inlet is offset so that, when properly mounted, air can escape from the filter.
My dealer had 20 in stock, so they aren't rare beasts either....

Rise, ancient thread, Rise! ;-)
Whilst working on my "new" car (a 1973 Alfa GT Junior that is getting an EFI conversion) I needed a pre-pump filter. My previous
suggestion sadly is no longer available, so a poke around google showed this up: http://www.ebay.de/itm/150688425800 Almost as cheap, 12mm
hose connections and it should hopefully flow enough to be useable as pre-pump filter. Time will tell.
Looking at the dates on these posts, my next EFI conversion is probably due in 9 years
