BMW Manifold distribution Piece
Can anyone tell me what this does, and if it is suitable for what I need.
I'm building a 6 cyl ITB injection setup, and need a common air rail for things like Vacuum servo, MS MAP, fast Idle valve (if I go with one). I
was planning on a single tube tapped into each runner, but this could be a ready made solution.

Seems to be the part on the M54 engine letting the extracted crankcase vapors back into the inlet. I suppose it could work for you. Don't know
how even the distribution of air would be (for idle control), but the technical manuals state it is made for even distribution of vapors to the
cylinders, so guess it would be alright.
Another option might be the Idle rails of the S50 or S54 engines? Well actually they would be an ideal ITB source as well ;-)
