jenvey fuel rail help needed please (pics included)
Dear All
I'm looking to order the fuel line and connectors for my rebuild and I want to go jic-6 all the way.
Looking at my fuel rail, it has a push-on connector and obviously I'd like JIC. When I push the connector into the fuel rail it seems to give a
little which leads me to wonder if it's held on with an o-ring.
So, my questions are:
1) is there an easy way to extract the push-on-hose fitting from the fuel rail? If I can then I'll tap and bond a jic connector in.
2) I have weber injectors, so if I can't modify the fuel rail, is there a good supplier of fuel rails that will take my injectors and onto which
I can apply a screw-on hose connector
3) has anyone else done this before? how did you do it?
Thanks
Mark

PS - yes that is my kitchen table, and no my wife doesn't mind. I asked her and she just sighed and said "to be honest, it doesn't
even register any more".

Got to ask why really, seems a lot of work when the standard Jenvey/injector setup works 100%..

Omex do an upgrade from the standard fuel rail to a JIC -6 one. Give them a call or drop them an email to see what they do, as they've been
really helpful with the stuff I bought from them, both before and after I got it.

/edit Having looked at the drawings on the Jenvey website, it looks like the connector end is machined, whereas the connecting pipe is fitted with
o-rings. You can get a PDF of the item from the following page:
Jenvey
/edit 2 Having looked even closer, I don't think they are machined.

Why don't you just purchase the JIC-6 rail from Jenvey?

I'd give Jenvey a ring and see if you can swap.

Thanks for your help everyone.
In the end, I went back to Jenvey and bought a new fuel rail - seemed easiest.
