wiring ignition

1. could anyone extract the image found on this page

http://westfield-world.com/Wiring_files/Wiring_frames.html so I can print it?

2. does anyone know which wire is which on the sierra key barrel? is it like the diagram above?

3. how would I wire in multiple connections to one position on the ignition? e.g. for now my MJ, EDIS and charge warning light all need to receive power on the "switched 12v" position. I guess its not a case of soldering 3 wires on to one connector then connecting that to the relevant wire on the ignition.

thank you.

You can solder more than one wire to the same connection on the barrel. Or you could run 1 thicker wire and then split, solder and heatshrink to split it. Doesnt really make much difference as long as the cable is capable of carrying the max current.

thank you david,

could you tell me how you did it? I looked at the page source and couldn't see the file even when I extracted just the image frame? I know its probably something really obvious!

just realised i also posted this in the wrong section, sorry about that.

in Google Chrome (maybe in explorer) right clicking over the image gives some helpful options.

for example a link to the file

With Firefox you can just click on an image and drag it to a folder.

I wired those types of things to a junction box with 6 inputs. I then wired them all together, with a larger one coming out the power end (to the fuse box). My junction boxes have screws for attaching the wires. No soldering, except to make the wire ends, provided you don't want to crimp. Easier done than said, I'm afraid!
